Have been a customer for 8+ years. Fantastic fish and chips as well and the owners (mother, daughter, brother) Came this evening to order fish and chips to go for my sick mother to bring home and the waitress said kitchen was closed. No worries understandable. None the less. Had 1 whiskey shot prior to coming in. Was not drunk as I’ve quit drinking as well as smoking. She was Rude and treated me like garbage. Sunday June 2nd at 11:10pm. I’m not like the rest of the people that come in. And was treated terribly. Even tried to call and she told me off and hung up one me. Well done. Will NEVER GO THERE AGAIN BECAUSE OF THAT DISRESPECTFUL HUMAN BEING. Tried calling again and she was extremely rude. Dark long hair. Terrible personality. Seriously. She’s a MALAKA. THANKS for your amazing fish and chips over the years. Will NEVER step foot in there again. All the best.
After having this restaurant on our breakfast to-try list for ages, we finally had a chance today. We both ordered the breakfast specials - includes 3 eggs, 4 bacons/3 sausages/2 hams, home fries, 2 slices of buttered toast and coffee. Regular price is $6.95 but if you dine before 10 AM, it's a steal at $4.95! I was a little disappointed that they don't offer the choice of poached eggs so opted for scrambled. Dishes came up a bit too greasy for my liking...I know breakfast food isn't exactly the healthiest but I've had much less greasy breakfast on the Rexdale strip. I prefer my home fries a bit more cooked/crispy...they were essentially sliced potatoes that were lightly browned. Nice diner set-up with a family feel though. We enjoyed our breakfast experience here and would come back, although not as a first-choice venue amidst the total of three breakfast restaurants we now know of on Rexdale. Always happy to support a local family-owned and operated restaurant though. Nice customer service and they look to have a loyal and consistent fanbase.
